TransparencyCamp Europe (TCampEU) is both an online app competition, an unconference in Amsterdam, and a series of Diplohacks across the continent, all aimed at increasing transparency in the European Union through the use of EU open data. TCampEU is initiated by the Dutch Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

TCampEU Diplohacks are organised by Dutch Embassies, in conjunction with the Impact Hub Network, and a number of different local and international transparency and open data NGOs. Confirmed TCampEU Diplohacks will take place in Athens, Bratislava, Brussels, Budapest, Geneva, Prague, Stockholm, Tirana and Vienna.

Dutch EU Presidency

During the first half of 2016 the Netherlands holds the Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The TransparencyCamp Europe Unconference, app competition and Diplohacks are all part of the Dutch aim to increase transparency in the EU.
